French Tax Changes for SIRET and SIREN
A French SIRET number is a unique 16-digit code identifying a specific business location in France formed by the 9-digit company identifier (SIREN) plus a 5-digit international establishment code.
We are removing SIRET numbers from the Tax Information topic and moving the collection to the Locations topic. The following questions will now show up for any location defined in France and we require that the first 9 digits of your SIRET number must match the SIREN number defined in the Tax Information topic.
New suppliers will not be able to add SIRET numbers in the Tax Information topic. To support backward compatibility, any suppliers with SIRET numbers will remain in place but be uneditable. Once the supplier updates the SIRET number in the Location topic, it will automatically be removed from the Tax Information topic.
