How is Veriff used in Graphite Connect?
Veriff’s Identity and Document Verification solution is used in Graphite to conduct biometric identity validation for suppliers attempting to submit information to Graphite Connect. When a supplier submits sensitive information to Graphite, an initial telemetric check is performed to verify the user's identity. If that process is unable to verify identity, the user is asked to take a photo of their government-issued identity document and a simple selfie. That information is used by Veriff to weed out deepfakes and bad actors.
Veriff supports for more than 11,500 document specimens from more than 230 countries and territories.
How is my data used?

According to Veriff, "customer data is encrypted both at rest and in transit following industry standard practices. For over network transit Veriff has implemented OpenSSH suite for shell access, file transfer and TLS version 1.2 or newer for the rest. For data at rest AES-256 encryption is utilised."
